After taking part in the carbon footprint survey, I found out that my carbon emissions is about 3500 kgs less then the average. Most of our meals are freshly cooked from responsibly sourced produce. We have our own chickens which supplies us with fresh eggs daily. We have 8 chickens which means many eggs, we give many other people eggs which we do not need so that they dont go to waste. We also have a veggie and herb patch which also supplies us with some foods for out meals. My transportation is above average for a few reasons. I catch the bus to school sometimes but most of the time a go to school with two of my other friends, the largest part to my transport is the travel it takes to and from my outside of school activities. It takes me around 30 minutes to drive there and back, we often take this time in the afternoon to do any jobs needed like fuelling up, doing any shopping and go to peoples house. These trips is the main reason as to why this sector is so high.
