Georgia, Townsville, Australia - Carbon Footprint
Using the ISCFC website, after answering the required questions, I was able to calculate my carbon footprint. It was approximately 6,935kg of Carbon dioxide per year. From these results, it could be seen that I am responsible for the production 4,836kg less CO2 than the average Australian, and 3,144kg more than the average human.
I rarely go shopping unless there is an event that needs a costume or certain attire, however I enjoy buying second-hand. Due to how close I live to school and to my extra-curricular activities outside of school, I usually travel a total of 15 minutes per day. These factors help my carbon footprint a lot further below the Australian average.
On the other hand, I still exceed the average human footprint by 3,144kg per year. I could reduce this number by attempting to eat even less meat than I already do and more vegetable-based products. I will also try to ride my bike to school more often to reduce the carbon being emitted from the car.
By taking this test, I have realised my impact on the world and I will strive to do my best in reducing the effects of climate change one spinach leaf at a time.

Hello, Georgia!! How are you?
It is so nice to know that you are trying to reduce your meat consumption...I am in a process of becoming a vegetarian, so I am also trying to eat vegetable-based meals!! I will also try riding my bike to school instead of going by car, so we reduce our transportation carbon emission!! It will be amazing to work with you during this project! :)
Hi Georgia,
I also took the same test and it was really eye opening, especially how almost everyone exceeded the worldwide average. You also inspired me because you are already doing such amazing job.
