My Carbon footprint is extremely low compared to the normal Australian, my carbon footprint sits at 8529kgs of CO2 per year, whereas the normal Australian carbon footprint stands at 11,771kgs. Since my house is close to school I usually ride 3-4 days a week and rarely use public transport. This can been seen in the transportation column as I rarely use any public means to get around and I only get driven to school when I have either my brother or mother home. In my home we have 3 people at the age of 21, 15 and 44 therefore as we are older and stronger our bodies need to eat more food so I understand why it’s higher than average. A struggle that is very hard to comprehend is how much food can impact the global environment, which it’s hard to understand the different amounts that CO2 and how it can impact the environment.
