March 11th - National Virtual Town Hall
March 16-18th - Student Work Validation - This is where you validate the work accomplished through the Virtual Town Hall with your greater community through the use of Online Polling and Questions.
March 20 & 21 - Writers Retreat - We come together, via WebEx, and synthesize all the ideas and research into a comprehensive paper.
Post March 21 - The paper is sent to a publishing house in Toronto, who then edits and publishes it in the form of a document like this. See link. It takes about a month before it is published.
Taking Action: At this point, the paper is in each of your hands and you need to take it to your schools, school boards, local and national government representatives. There will be a series of formal presentations facilitated through our team, i.e. presentation to CC UNESCO, etc. We will provide details when we get them.

Dear teachers and students,
We would like to extend a warm welcome to the National Virtual Town Hall on Global Citizenship!. This conference is possible through the partnership of the Centre for Global Education, TakingITGlobal and . We are so excited to have you engage in this interactive virtual classroom space ahead of the March 11th live event.
This space is populated with resources and learning activities to help to learn about climate change and the current policies/debates/controversies surrounding the issue. Now that you'ved joined the classroom, begin by saying hello in the Discussions section and feel free to contribute discussion threads and responses freely over the coming days. It would also be great if you could complete you TIG profile to help everyone get to know you better. In the Files section, you'll find additional videos and readings that may be of interest to you.
