I used the Zero footprint carbon footprint calculator to calculate my carbon footprint from 30 questions. My carbon footprint was quite high which reflects Australia being a developing country which means that it is quite developed and uses a lot of resources which creates a negative impact on the environment. During summer we use our Air-cons the whole season and our fans to cool down our house which also adds to my carbon footprint being quite high. My carbon footprint surprised me in how high it was I didn’t think it would be the number that it was. Now whenever I do stuff around the house or at school I think about the impact that it might be having on the environment and then the ways that I can decrease my carbon footprint.
