My vision for the future of sustainable energy in Canada is that the citizens of Canada are aware of the energy resources and the affects that they produce in the environment by choosing different energy sources. Such as choosing between electricity provided by the cities energy plant house or setting up solar panels to produce their own energy.
The way this would look like is that Canada would provide more educational programs and create ways to involve the citizens in the movement to a more environmentally friendly future.
Alberta’s goal should be that after a certain amount of time the majority of Canadians should be aware of the environment concerns that are currently taking place.

My vision of Canada's future would be that Canada will no longer be known as the oil country but will be known for the ability to balance the economy and environment without harming the future. Some goals that Alberta can achieve are exporting more oil then we import while still making a reasonable amount of money. I also think a goal for Alberta would be to take a certain percentage out of the profits of the oil sands and invest the money in finding new sustainable technology. As a nation i believe that we can set up technology such as solar panels and wind turbines across Canada.

My vision for the future of sustainable energy in Canada is that fossil fuels will be eradicated. They will be replaced with cleaner energy that not only benefits us but also does not affect the environment in any way. Canada’s government would have to slow down in production of oil or find a cleaner way to extract it. They could enforce laws that state that only a certain amount of fossil fuels can be produced per year and every year, they could reduce the percentage. Meanwhile, they could replace the fossil fuels with clean energy sources so that the country has time to adjust each year. Canada should find the balance between the economy and sustainable energy and turn towards cleaner energy sources such as solar panels.

My vision for the future of sustainable energy in Canada is an increased usage of sustainable energy sources like solar energy, geothermal energy, and wind energy, and a new way of consuming fossil fuels so that it does not negatively affect the environment but still effectively contributing to the advancement of the economy. There would be more sustainable energy funding from the government, while continuous production and exportation of fossil fuels, such as oil, in a new way, is being conducted.
