According to the answers Palestinians think that climate change isn't a political issue so my community doesn't care about taking action on climate change in my nation although it impacting members in my country according to their opinions because as they agreed it affecting sixty per cent of the Palestinian economy , we think climate change isn't the most important issue of our generation because there are more issues which have a greater importance in this generation especially here in Palestine and it was my opinion too.
Climate has already started to change by human activities and ecological processes such as volcanoes.Changes in climate are already having a significant on me personally and some of these impacts is heat waves and there are also good impacts such as longer growing season for crops so it impacting a lot of members of my community such as farmers and it effecting Palestine's economy which depends on Agriculture besides there are a one hundred fifty thousand people around the world are already dying as a result of storms , droughts and floods.
I am often asked to learn about climate change in school and as I understood my individual actions have a significant effect on a global climate because we can't exploit the movement of rivers and seas because of the occupation so we get most of our energy from fossil fuel burning and it's emissions causing a global warming and I talk to my community elders about climate change and how we must try to find a solutions for this problem so they must consider it as an important issue because humans are the major cause of climate change because of their activities which cause pollution such as fossil fuel burning , motor vehicles and factories but it doesn't mean that the ecological processes aren't a reason too.
We have a responsibilities in a local scale we must find alternative energy instead of fossil fuel sources , the scientists from all countries must work hard to find a solutions and to provide education to educate everyone about the climate change and how to protect ourselves.
In a local scale my community must care about taking action on climate change and how to protect against it for example Ramallah's factories must recycle paper , plastic and glass because we mustn't share carbon dioxide emissions.
In the personal scale it will be better if we fly less because air travel leaves behind a huge carbon footprint although there is no flight here in Palestine also because of the occupation besides that we don't know where some of our food is grown according to the results of the questionnaire so we must eat wisely and to eat less meat because eighteen per cent come from meat. It's a time of implementation to help the world and to stop disaster as we can for a safe life.
These were my questions :
1- Are humans the major cause of global warming ?
2- Is climate change already having a significant impact on ecosystems ?
