What is the current state of this UNFCCC theme?

Oct 16, 2015 by Boshra

The current state of this UNFCCC theme is that they realise that we have to take action to make the earth and our lives a better place. They ARe trying to bring as many countries as they can to help in this process. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is expected to agree an international and legally binding agreement on climate action. The COP21 is a conference where the objective is to achieve legally binding and universal agreement on climatefrom all the nations of the world. Leadership of the negotiations is yet to be determined, and will be taking place in Paris, France. The UNFCCC is an environmental treaty which came into place in 1994. The ultimate objective for it is to stabilize the greenhouse gases that leak into the atmosphere emitted by each country to make it safe for human interference. They believe that there should be a goal within a given time limit to where they achieve their outcomes goals. They say that it will allow ecosystems to adapt naturally to climate change, to ensure that food production is not threatened, and to enable economic development to proceed in a sustainable manner. 194 countries have signed the UNFCCC which is really good. This shows that the world is not oblivious to these problems and they want to make a change. The treaty is not legally binding and does not set mandatory laws on greenhouse emissions.
