BC Hydro

Environment   Oct 16, 2015 by Kiara

This article gives out lots of information however lots of it is one sided. I would be interested in seeing another perspective on the issue. While I belive that it is easy to ask for many things and disagree with lots I also believe that only in an ideal situation could you get everything you wanted. Hydro electric power represents a new world, one where electric power is used often. There are few locations where a hydro electric dam could be well implemented and used efficiently. If Natives and Canada are to work together on future issues, ones like this will be a foreshadow of what will probably happen in the future. As power and population grow we will need more sources of energy and hydro electric dams are a very realistic solution. With the outcry from the people for the environment hydro electirc dams are a very realistic look of the future. From this article alone it is very difficult to see other locations that could be able to use hydro electric dams efficiently. However if we are not willing to work together we will get the status quo which are coal refineries. If we don’t take steps to move forward we will not evolve and get better as a race. As a result of few sights on a global scale that are efficient for hydro power it would be a big milestone if this one were to go through. If perfection is not possible which is the lesser of the two evils.

I completely agree with your point of view and you backed up all facts with evidence to prove your point.

However it is a historical site with lots of history to it. Which we can learn from.
