A Sustainable World

Environment   Sep 23, 2015 by Myriam Samake

My vision for a sustainable world would be a world where pollution levels are lowered so that air quality is cleaner and healthier to breath. A world where we are not restricted to using fossil fuels for energy, but can use renewable resources to generate power. There should be a limit on deforestation to preserve our world of oxygen for the respiration and photosynthesis cycle. Unnecessary and excessive use of energy should be limited. Turning off water and lights when not in use, carpooling, and using solar and water energy to power our resources are easy ways that can drastically improve our environment.

There are many other ways we can produce oxygen, other than trees. Besides this, how would we achieve this? One way we can is to introduce  better ways to grow food. Food account for a significant # of carbon emissions. Just some food for thought :)
