SIMULATION -ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINTS - GROUP 1

Environment   Oct 13, 2015 by Jatinder Kumar Saini

What seemed as easy ,simple questions to which answers were to be selected .....actually turned out to be eye opener.made me realise how incorrect it has been on my part to just think that resources are meant to save our time and our energy whereas it should have been use their energy in limit so they last for a longer time.have thought to make more use of natural resources,to walk rather than drive to small distances, minimise use of electricity and use natural sunlight till it dwindles and try to persuade others especially young kids to do the same, coz its their generation who will face the music.

Hey !

This is a really good thought here and I found a really interesting video related to your concerns. Adapting to climate change is also another way to address the problem. Adapting consists in changing your habits ; like you said trying to walk instead of using your car. This video gives other examples of communities and people working together to adapt their work environment or neighborhood under climate change.

This is a 20 min- documentary entitled " Adapting to a changing climate" produced by the United Nation Climate Change secretariat. It won the a gold award at the Deauville green awards and explains that climate change is global but the adaptation is local. Depending on the area you live in, you can make steps to adapt under climate change and make decisions which will have a good impact on the future generations. There are three examples of adaptation given in the second part of the documentary, which are mind blowing.
