About Me

I love talking and thinking about energy / environment issues, and lucky for me it is a big part of my job! I work for Senator Grant Mitchell who does a lot of work on climate change issues. He is also the Deputy Chair of the Senate Energy and Environment Committee and we have spent the last three years hearing from witnesses on Canada's energy system.

I'm originally from Calgary, AB and moved to Ottawa because I've always loved politics and public policy. I did my undergraduate degree at Carleton University in public policy and am currently finishing my thesis for my master's degree in public policy as well. My thesis is looking at different climate change programs in Alberta and BC.

Outside of work and school I love outdoor activities, running and knitting!
