I looked at the article by the guardian; "Climate change will hit Australia harder than the rest of the world." It explains how the temperature will gradually rise throughout the next few years if change doesn't happen. It also states that the temperature has already risen since 1910 by 0.9 degrees celcius and by 2090 the temperature will rise by 5.0 degrees celcius. I know that climate change could affect me and my community greatly as I live in an area that is dry and fire danger can become severe as well as droughts. It states in the article that last year was the 3rd hottest year on record, with the year before being the hottest. The heat waves were extreme and unbearable. It is also expected that the sea level will rise, which will have huge affect on the cities as most of the population is on the coast line.
