My Vision for a sustainable world

Oct 18, 2015 by Yoo Jin Kim

My vision for a sustainable world is a place with no garbage lying down the streets and floating in the sea.

How could I make this vision a reality you ask? I could make this vision a reality by not littering and organizing my trash properly and maybe call out people if I see them littering.

That is, IF I get the courage to do, and I hope I do because to me, I think that way I could feel like I would be some help in changing the world a to a better place for the people in the future.

Wow! Great idea! Every little change makes a difference. I think you should talk a bit about what we could do as a world to create a sustainable world. Overall, I agree with everything you have said.

This is a very on-point opinion on sustainability and I think all of us should try and improve our personal habits. But in order to have a sustainable world, we also need to consider larger scale issues, like how we extract or share natural resources because without these considerations the energy sources that we have on this planet are going to deplete while a large potions of the world will stay under-developed. That's why in addition to caring about personal and local issues on sustainability, we need to join the social movements that promote the idea on a global scale and learn from other nations the different ways by which we can adopt to the changing world.
