Climate change will hit Australia harder than rest of world, study shows.

After reading this article I became very aware of how climate change is affecting us in Australia. It was very worrying to find out that a new study found by the CSIRO and Bureau of Meteorology predicts that temperature will rise up to 5.1 degrees Celsius in Australia by 2090.

It is extremely alarming that in 2014 Australia experienced its third warmest year on record, and in 2013 it was the warmest year ever recorded. This has found that the temperature rise is caused by climate change.

I believe that a solution for climate change must be found. As the temperature rises the sea level rises and the Ice caps melt. This also means many animals will become extinct or endangered. The Earth’s Ozone layer is already thin and cannot afford to be reduced anymore.

Although this is a very large issue I believe that more can be done. I think that more green energy must be used rather then relying on coal. By using solar and wind energy could help reduce the reliance on coal energy. By making more household appliances green and eco friendly could also help this.
