In year 1 IB Environmental systems and societies, in the school Lincoln Community School in Accra, Ghana we had to make a photo essay. Meaning we express our thoughts in photos. My group and I, which consisted of Kenza and India, decided to make a poster. We spent two days trying to take photos of pollution in our city, and tried to get different places and aspects as well, to show how it affects our everyday life. As we came to put the poster together we decided to keep the poster paper plain and simple, meaning we decided to have it white. We also decided to emphasize on the photos, so we made them have a green border. We wanted to recreate the 'pollution' so we reused materials like plastic, and string, and decorated the poster in a way that looked nice, but also emphasized on the problem.
