Hello, I am Penny from Taiwan, and I would like to share my opinion about climate change issue.
The most serious influence is global warming. Due to global warming, the average temperature is gradually rising, which results in the spread of some diseases, such as dengue fever. Dengue fever, which only happens in areas between the tropic of cancer and the tropic of Capricorn, tends to shift northward to higher latitude. In Taiwan, dengue fever has spread from the south to the north. So far, more than ten people have died of dengue fever, which has a serious impact on Taiwan. Moreover, global warming also leads to the increase of the number of storms. In addition, the rain season has been shortened, and the length of drought has been lengthened.

Hello, I am Becky from Taiwan too. Until now 283 indigenous dengue cases were confirmed in Taiwan. The number of new cases reported in Kaohsiung City is 39 cases more than that reported during the same day last week, while the number of new cases reported in Tainan City is 18 cases less than that reported during the same day last week.
