Climate change will hit Australia harder than rest of world

Oct 28, 2015 by wilderness-ohardy

Whilst reading the article Climate change will hit Australia harder than rest of world, I begun to understand the drastic impacts of climate change Australia. It made me think about future generations growing up in extreme weather conditions and the burden of climate change. This made me angry, that the things we are doing now will effect the place my children grow up in. In Australia 2090 it is expected that an increase in temperature between 2.8 and 5.1 degrees Celsius will be experienced. This will cause many disasters including increases in drought, snow cover declining and extreme rainfall events will increase but overall rainfall is expected to drop in southern Australia.

We, the youth of Australia, need to stand up for the future generations to come. Carbon emissions need to be cut so the place we live in today, does not become a hostile environment to live in.
