For our research,we had to choose an environmental issue that we or the people in our community are affected by. We decided to address the digital dumping ground in Accra which is a major environmental issue. We found out how it affects the community as well as Ghana as a whole. There are several pollution issues that were caused by this such as water pollution and air pollution. The chemicals would poison the water thus causing food poisoning to people and the burning would cause several diseases such as bronchitis, asthma and several more. in this research we were able to learn more about our environment helped us become more cautious about our society and changes we all have to make.

I believe that this blogpost is valid and that digital dumping is an issue. As people, we tend to not notice environmental issues around the world and instead just notice local or provincial issues. Sometimes we just think that if we don't directly get affected by it then it shouldn't be important but that isn't true. It is important. Canada isn't just our country, it's part of OUR world. And I completely agree that we need to start taking care of it.
